It took a few days after my Tiffen filters arrived before the Sun decided to make an appearance. Once it peaked out behind the clouds, I was there to snap this picture. Before anyone gets too excited, those black dots are not Sunspots. That’s dust on the camera. I didn’t know how dirty my camera had gotten until I had pushed it as far as I could. The little suckers become really visible then.

I played around with the manual settings some more and got a few more pictures. These were my best two of the day. Since I was shooting over my neighbors house to get these shots (it was late afternoon), I’m hoping they don’t think I was spying on them.
